Adult Sunday School
Well-versed Christian teachers lead spiritual lessons for adults on Sunday morning. The class meets at 9:45 to study and learn God’s plan for HIS followers.
Community Free Lunch
The last Saturday of each month from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. the church invites the community for a free lunch. This is a time of fellowship and nourishment for your body and soul. All served with the Love of Christ.
Acolytes and Crucifer
Assisting with the opening of Sunday morning worship are a crucifer and acolytes. One of the children carries the cross to the pulpit area and two others light the altar candles. At the end of worship, they extinguish the altar candles and take the “light of Jesus” into the world.
Vacation Bible School
Adults as well as Parents are commanded to “train up” a child in the way he/she should go. Vacation Bible School does just that. Each summer a week-long fun-time is held during July at FUMC.
Children’s Moments
Jesus says, “Let the little children come unto me.” Children who are in attendance for Sunday morning worship are invited to come forward for a teaching moment. This is a rewarding experience for the young and old.
Church Choir
Sunday worship service is exalted with an anthem by a group of volunteer musicians. A trained director leads practice on Thursday evening at 6:30.
